Kyle Kuzma and Kevin Durant Got the 2019 NBA ALL STAR MVP’s

NBA All-Star weekend kicked off on Friday night in Charlotte, starting with the much-anticipated Rising Stars Challenge.

The All-Star game of sorts pitted some of the best young talents in the league against one other, split up into Team World and Team USA.

While it was a close battle throughout most of the contest, filled with lots of highlights expected from an All-Star game, it absolutely was Kyle Kuzma that led Team USA to a 161-144 win against Team World at the Spectrum Center.

Kuzma, who was named MVP of the game, finished with 35 points, six rebounds, and five assists, shooting 15-of-27 from the field and 3-of-10 from the 3-point line.

The Final day of the event, another exciting NBA All-Star Weekend is in the books. Team LeBron closed the weekend with a 178-164 victory over Team Giannis in the All-Star Game on Sunday night from Charlotte. In a captain’s effort, Giannis Antetokounmpo went for 38 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, but it wasn’t enough to get the victory — nor the MVP Award.

That honor went to Team LeBron’s Kevin Durant. The Warriors All-Star helped his squad take over in the second half, and finished with 31 points and seven rebounds to win All-Star MVP.
